Real...That right there is the stuff of nightmares. <BR/><BR/>Really, really glad my mother isn't that involved with my life. She threw a small hairy cat fit when my sister and her (now) husband decided to live together, and went on and on to me about it. Because she has a tendency to hold me up as an example of Proper Behavior, I made sure I told her:<BR/><BR/>"I hope you know, if I had a serious boyfriend I'd probably be doing the same thing. Actually, I don't see the point or the benefit of marriage. If you find yourself in a bad situation and want to get out, there's no easy to disentangle yourself if you married the guy."<BR/><BR/>The reaction? Hurt, baffled, stunned silence. I felt bad.
