Three words: Better Business Bureau.
It may not fix your problem to report 'em, but you'll feel better.
Is there no other oil company in the area to use?
We've been with this particular company for a good ten years if not longer. This is the first time I've had an experience like this. In many respects (especially billing), they're quite flexible, which has saved our butts on a number of occasions.
When I called and spoke with the secretary today, she had a tech out here within a half hour. The guy left maybe ten minutes ago, which means he worked on the problem for at least ninety minutes. At least they're trying to fix the problem.

You poor thing! I wish y'all could come hang out with us. Our warm weather is leaving and we may get snow tomorrow... but, our heater works!
